Laura Lazarus is a Senior Vice President of Telesis and is the director of the New York office. She currently oversees large-scale development projects in Baltimore, MD, Pittsburgh, PA and Newark, NJ. Her work includes securing funding, obtaining political and community support, performing predevelopment work, analyzing financing and managing design and construction services, addressing public safety concerns and identifying and implementing appropriate supportive services. Her work at Telesis has also included master planning services for the Chicago and New York Housing Authorities in connection with large redevelopment plans.

She recently served as the Deputy of Commissioner of Development at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. In this position, she oversaw major new construction and preservation intiatives being developed by New York City.

Prior to coming to Telesis and after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center and Princeton University, Laura was with the law firms of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison and Fulbright and Jaworski L.L.P. where she practiced real estate law with a special focus on affordable housing. Laura is President of Women in Housing and Finance in New York.

 
Catherine Simmons is a Project Manager. Catherine came to Telesis from the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) where she served as the Program Manager of HPD's HUD Multifamily Preservation Loan Program. In this capacity, she was responsible for the direction of a new loan program targeted to finance the rehabilitation of large distressed multifamily buildings. Prior to that, she was a Project Manager in HPD's Division of Special Needs Housing. From 2003 to 2005, she was a Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund). Catherine is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received her Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institution of Technology.
 
Sabine Ronc is a Fellow at Telesis Corporation. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Anthropology from Harvard University in June 2007. While at Harvard, she also studied Government as a Secondary Field, volunteered with the Housing Opportunities Program, and wrote her senior honors thesis on a housing project in the suburbs of Paris. Her work experience includes teaching English in Ecuador, an internship in journalism at Courrier International in Paris, France, as well as an internship with the South Asia Human Rights Documentation Center in New Delhi, India.
