David
Madway is Counsel to Telesis West and helps direct its activities
in San Francisco and Oakland. He was recently General Counsel to the
San Francisco Redevelopment Agency during a ten year period that
included Yerba Buena Gardens, Giants Ballpark, Mission Bay, and the
acquisition of the 600 acre Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. Madway was a
partner in the law firm Madway, Blumberg, Farber, and Smith in
Berkeley; served as the Executive Director of the National Housing Law
Project; and, as a consultant to the United States Agency for
International Development and the World Bank. He is now a partner in
the San Francisco law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter, & Hampton,
one of the largest law firms in California. He holds a law degree from
the University of Chicago.
