BRADENTON VILLAGE | BRADENTON, FL

Bradenton Village is a transformative neighborhood redevelopment on over 28 acres, in an area that was plagued with severe flooding because of the absence of infrastructure on the formally segregated public housing site. The Housing Authority of the City of Bradenton selected Telesis to serve as the master planner and developer for this neighborhood, creating a plan for more than 400 homes and apartments on the Rodgers Gardens and adjacent sites. The Authority received a HOPE VI grant to implement the transformation. Cooper Johnson Smith Architects received the Addison Mizner medal for their design for the Bradenton Village community.
